a model for the measurement of productivity in the public sector of iran

the purpose of this article is to design a model for measuring productivity in the public sector . to this end both effectiveness and efficiency are considered. the measurement of effectiveness focus on four dimention ; service delivering to client, citizen satisfaction, improvement of society?s conditions and undesired outcomes of service delivery . we used delphi methods to define the effectiveness and efficiency indicators . in order to select experts, snow ball sampling was applied. ahp method was conducted to determind importance factors and priority of each indicators . the model was tested in three public organization ; hospitals, banks and police stations . finally the last model was designed by four section combination and separation of public and special indicators . definding of the research suggest that the model could be used in different interval of future .
